ABOUT ME
Who is Lee V. Evans?
Lee V. Evans spent thirty-three years as a professional grant writer for a community
college in Southern California. During that time, she also took literature and writing
classes at her college, earning a Creative Writing certificate and a small scholarship
from the Literature Department. She used this money as the foundation to begin
research in London and Edinburgh toward the writing of “In the School of Affliction,”
based on the life of Daniel Defoe. Additionally, she wrote “The Epiphany of Regret.”
and a film treatment. Now retired, Lee has rewritten both her novels and is working on
a travel diary. She is also writing another historical novel, taking place in the period
between the 1900’s to the 1940’s, spanning both WWI and WWII.
Lee is an avid reader and is addicted to travel. Many of the places she visits are those
that form the foundational research for her novels.
